Terms of Service
Last updated 9 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Bagout at bagout.io (the “Service”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum for wagering. You must not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by the law that applies to you. Determining whether you may lawfully play is your responsibility, not ours.
We do not currently verify your age or your location automatically. Playing while ineligible is a breach of these terms, and we may close your account and withhold balances if we find you are.
We may at any time require identity or address verification before permitting withdrawals, and may hold funds until it is complete.
2. Your account
Accounts are created through our authentication provider. One account per person. Your public username must not impersonate anyone, and we may reclaim usernames that do.
You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the security of the wallet and credentials attached to it. We cannot recover a wallet or its keys for you.
3. How play works
Bagout is a real-time game in which you move a cube, leave a trail outside your own territory, and claim ground by closing a loop back into it. Touching another player’s trail eliminates them; touching your own eliminates you.
- Free practice. The free tier costs nothing and pays nothing. No money is involved in it at any point.
- Buy-in. Joining a paid world debits the buy-in for that tier from your balance. You enter carrying a stake equal to it.
- Eliminating someone transfers everything they are carrying to you.
- Being eliminated forfeits everything you are carrying to whoever eliminated you.
- Eliminating yourself (running into your own trail) forfeits what you carry entirely. Nobody receives it.
- Cashing out banks what you are carrying, but only if you survive the whole hold. Being killed during it loses everything, including on the final tick.
Worlds are also filled with computer-controlled players. They are staked by us at the same buy-in as everybody else, so eliminating one pays exactly what eliminating a person pays, and they can take your stake in the same way. You will not always be told which players are which.
We do not currently take any commission or rake from stakes. If that changes, the amount will be disclosed before you join a world it applies to.
4. Deposits and withdrawals
Where real-money settlement is enabled, deposits and withdrawals are made in SOL on the Solana network.
- Deposits are credited once the transaction is final on-chain, converted to your balance at a market rate we obtain at the time of processing.
- Withdrawals are paid to the wallet associated with your account, subject to a minimum amount shown at the time of withdrawal.
- Network fees are yours. A transfer too small to cover them may be uneconomic to make.
- Funds arriving from a wallet we cannot match to an account cannot be credited automatically and must be resolved manually. Contact us if this happens to you.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We cannot reverse a transfer you sent to the wrong address.
5. Risk
Outcomes depend heavily on skill, but skill does not guarantee winning. You can lose your entire buy-in in seconds, and every buy-in you make. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose.
Nothing on the Service is investment advice, and no result you have had is a prediction of any result you will have.
6. Fair play
You must not:
- automate play, or use scripts, modified clients or any tool that plays for you;
- hold more than one account, or play against yourself through another account;
- collude with other players to move stakes between accounts;
- exploit a bug rather than reporting it, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
Where we find any of these, we may reverse affected transactions, suspend or close the account, and withhold balances derived from the breach.
7. Availability and interruptions
The Service is provided as-is and may be unavailable at any time, including without notice for deployments and maintenance. Worlds are persistent and a server restart ends the world you are in.
A disconnection does not immediately forfeit your stake: you have a short grace period to return, after which your position is resolved automatically. We are not responsible for losses caused by your connection, device, or anything else outside our infrastructure.
8. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are required to act against, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time; any withdrawable balance remains withdrawable subject to these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the revision.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount held in your account balance at the time the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
