Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Bagout at bagout.io (the “Service”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum for wagering. You must not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by the law that applies to you. Determining whether you may lawfully play is your responsibility, not ours.

We do not currently verify your age or your location automatically. Playing while ineligible is a breach of these terms, and we may close your account and withhold balances if we find you are.

We may at any time require identity or address verification before permitting withdrawals, and may hold funds until it is complete.

2. Your account

Accounts are created through our authentication provider. One account per person. Your public username must not impersonate anyone, and we may reclaim usernames that do.

You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the security of the wallet and credentials attached to it. We cannot recover a wallet or its keys for you.

3. How play works

Bagout is a real-time game in which you move a cube, leave a trail outside your own territory, and claim ground by closing a loop back into it. Touching another player’s trail eliminates them; touching your own eliminates you.

Worlds are also filled with computer-controlled players, staked by us at the same buy-in as everybody else. Their stake sits in the pot the same as a human's, but a bot is never who the pot pays out to. You will not always be told which players are which.

The Service offers two match formats, each described in the game before you join: one-against-one duels; and battle-royale worlds where a shrinking zone drains health and the last player standing takes the whole pot. It also runs periodic tournaments with a fixed entry fee whose pool is paid to the winner or winners. Buy-ins and entry fees are not refundable once a game or tournament has started, and if a paid format ends with no eligible player remaining, the pot is retained by us.

We charge a house fee of 5% on a match's pot when it pays out to the winner, and 5% again on the amount of each withdrawal. Both are shown at the time they apply. Buy-ins carry no fee. If the rates change, the rate shown in the game at the time a match pays out or you withdraw is the one that applies.

4. Deposits and withdrawals

Where real-money settlement is enabled, deposits and withdrawals are made in SOL on the Solana network.

Tips

You can send part of your balance to another player as a tip. Tips carry no fee and cannot be reversed once confirmed, so check the username before you send. You can only tip money that has already been wagered once. A tip you receive must itself be wagered once before you can withdraw it or tip it on. Tips are limited per tip and per day, both sent and received; the limits are shown when you tip. We review accounts whose tipping and play suggest money is being moved between them rather than played, and may suspend accounts or hold balances under section 8 while we do.

5. Risk

Outcomes depend heavily on skill, but skill does not guarantee winning. You can lose your entire buy-in in seconds, and every buy-in you make. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose.

Nothing on the Service is investment advice, and no result you have had is a prediction of any result you will have.

6. Fair play

You must not:

Where we find any of these, we may reverse affected transactions, suspend or close the account, and withhold balances derived from the breach.

7. Availability and interruptions

The Service is provided as-is and may be unavailable at any time, including without notice for deployments and maintenance. If we restart or stop a server while you are in a paid match, your buy-in is refunded to your balance in full, fee-free.

A disconnection is different: you have a short grace period to return, and if you do not, your run ends where it stood: your territory is released and you are out of contention for that world's pot. Your stake is not refunded individually; it stays in the pot, the same as if you had been eliminated, and goes to whoever is left standing when the match ends. That is deliberate: disconnecting must not be a way to guarantee getting your stake back. We are not responsible for losses caused by your connection, device, or anything else outside our infrastructure.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are required to act against, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time; any withdrawable balance remains withdrawable subject to these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the revision.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount held in your account balance at the time the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
